Research shows learning outdoors is a great method of making learning stick while also building social skills, developing character, and allowing students and teachers to lower stress levels. This session will walk participants through the development of academic lessons for use in the outdoors as well as how to make the experience optimal and equitable for all students. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to spend a portion of the session outside.
